Privacy

When you use our web site, you give us access to information about you. 

It is voluntary for those who visit the website to provide personal information in connection with services such as receiving newsletters and purchases of products. The treatment basis is the consent of the individual, unless otherwise specified. 

Rune Grammofon AS is the treatment manager for the processing of personal data collected through the website. 

Keyteq AS is Rune Grammofon AS´ data processor and is our supplier for development, operation and maintenance of the site. 

Information collected in connection with the operation of the website is stored on its own servers at Webhuset.

Only Rune Grammofon AS and Keyteq AS with subcontractors have access to the information collected. A separate data processing agreement between Rune Grammofon AS and Keyteq AS regulates which information the supplier has access to and how it is to be processed. 

Information registered

Rune Grammofon AS collects unidentified information about visitors to our websites. The purpose of this is to generate statistics that we use to improve and further develop services on the site. Examples of what the statistics shows; how many people visit different pages, how long the visit lasts, what websites users come from and what browsers they are using. 

The tool is set up so cookies are not used. We also respect "Do Not Track" settings in the user's browser (for the X-Do-Not-Track and DNT header). The Do Not Track feature is included in most new browsers. It can alternatively be entered by the user himself. 

Information provided by the user

The information you voluntarily provide with regards to orders and newsletters (which may include your name, address and contact details such as phone number, e-mail address or fax number) are processed in compliance with the Personal Information Act.

Deletion of personal data

We do not store personal information longer and to a greater extent than is necessary to fulfill the purpose of the treatment unless required by law.

Cookies

A cookie (either temporary or persistent) is a small file stored on your computer. Typically, websites use a cookie to improve your user experience (faster page viewing) and on login.

When you visit a website, both temporary and persistent cookies are stored on your computer. Temporary cookies are stored until you close the browser window, and are used to improve your user experience (faster page viewing) and sign-in. Persistent cookies are stored on your computer for a certain period of time (90 days to 12 years). These are used to improve your user experience and to detect Javascript properties.

What rights does the registered person have?

Everybody who ask are entitled to basic information about personal data processing in a company pursuant to section 18, first paragraph, of the Personal Information Act. Rune Grammofon AS has provided this information in this declaration and will refer it to any requests. Those registered in one of Rune Grammofon AS' systems are entitled to access their own information. The person also has the right to request that inaccurate, incomplete or information that Rune Grammofon AS do not have access to process, is corrected, deleted or supplemented. Claims from the registrant must be answered free of charge and no later than 30 days.

How is the information secured?

All data is stored in a seperate database with full access control. All activity is logged.

The legal basis for such logs is the requirement for logs in sections 2 to 8 and 2-14 of the Personal Data Protection Regulations, and section 8 (f) of the Personal Information Act, to ensure that the company ensures other information values than personal data.
