Reviews RCD2014
The duo's shadowy and hallucination-like electronic free collages are kind of f**king perfect.
Bananafish (UK)
Jazzkammer exhibit a true dedication to their craft. This is genuine modern composition, folks!
The Sound Projector (UK)
More fanciful than Cage and less helpful but, 60 years on, liberated sound this well crafted requires no further explanation.
The Wire (UK)
This is a cd with a very good mix of noise, electronics and electroacoustics.

"Timex" is Lasse Marhaug and John Hegre's first collaborative effort for the esteemed Rune Grammofon imprint. With nearly 50 releases to their name since 2000, newcomers would be understandably wary of where to begin with their output, but this is quite a brilliant introduction. Refraining from the outright noise of some later works, 'Timex' is concerned with the sculpting of dry and dense digital sonics in an improvised jazz/noise context, using turntables, field recordings, samplers and sine waves to create vivid, engrossing sounds focussed on acute juxtapositions of texture and time.
